Acting Out Behavior Cycle (2-Hour Session)
Teachers report that classroom management is one of the greatest challenges they face, especially when faced with children who exhibit significant challenging behaviors. This session will explore the Acting Out Cycle of Behavior (Colvin, 2004) and provide practical steps to dealing with high intensity behaviors in the school environment.

Positive Classroom Management Through Restorative Practices
This hands-on session will help teachers understand how restorative practices can be interwoven into their positive classroom and school based behavior systems and supports. Using Ideas from the book, "Better Than Carrots or Sticks: Restorative Practices for Positive Classroom Management," by Douglas Fisher and Nancy Frey, and ideas from successful educators, participants will learn what doesn't work in classroom management and what does work in building strong school climates that value relationships and meaningful instruction.
