Restorative Practices Specialist
Gayle Threet is the Restorative Practices Specialist at the Utah State Board of Education. She is a co-author of Techniques for Tough Times, curriculum for teachers and counselors. She was a crisis responder for 25 years in Jordan School District. She has a passion for working with students who have incarcerated parents and believes strongly that counselors and teachers make life-changing differences with students when relationships can be built. Gayle is certified in Conflict Resolution by the University of Utah's Conflict Resolution Program and has received her certification as a Trauma-Informed Practitioner in Education. Her Master's degree is in Counseling.
