Teachers are powerful people. How will you use that power? We will discuss how great leaders and teachers use their power to empower others and how technology enhances this effort. We will discuss 5 key ways that teachers can empower students and the technology tools they can use to unleash student potential. Will you value student's voice or belittle it in favor your own? Will you grant access to technology that unlocks infinite resources, tools, and communication or will you banish or restrict it in favor of "control"? Let's allow sparks to fly with self-directed, engaging learning, and change our kids' uninspired one-word answer to the question, "What did you learn today?"
