Building Resiliency by Helping Students Develop Habits of Mind (Repeats)

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

We know our students need to have good habits of mind, but what are Habits of Mind? They are a set of intellectual attributes that students need in order to be successful.  These include for example:  persisting, thinking flexibly, creating/imagining/innovating, taking responsible risks, and remaining open to continuous learning.  We can teach in ways that can help our students develop these attributes.  Come to this interactive session to learn strategies to help your students cultivate these important “ways of being”.  You will come away with strategies that you can implement into your planning for next year.
