The Winds of Change: Restorative Practices and Safe Schools

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

In your school, you have students at risk for violence, drug use, gang affiliation, depression, anxiety, dropping out, suicide and other behaviors that may take them away from being successful in school and life. This presentation will give hands-on strategies how Restorative Practices can truly reach ALL your students and build critical relationships to allow administrators, teachers and staff to teach academic concepts and critical life skills. We will also be looking at ways that schools can improve school safety and identify at-risk youth. We will share with you how to connect with students who may have a tendency for violent behavior and de-escalate behaviors by building relationships.
